1. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of cvprowrite.co.uk and any CV writing, CV formatting, cover letter, LinkedIn profile or related career service ("Services") ordered from CVProWrite ("CVProWrite", "we", "us" or "our"). By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use our Services.

2. Our Services

CVProWrite provides professional CV writing and related career document services, delivered by our team of professional writers, for clients including graduates, professionals, managers and executives. The specific package you choose (as described on our Packages page) sets out exactly what is included — such as the documents provided, the number of revision rounds, and the standard turnaround time. Package inclusions and pricing may be updated from time to time; the terms that applied at the time you placed your order will govern that order.

Our Services involve professional writing and formatting based on the information you provide. We do not guarantee a specific outcome, such as an interview or job offer — no CV writing service reasonably can — but we do commit to producing a professionally written, achievement-focused, ATS-friendly document appropriate to your career stage and target roles.

3. Orders and Payments

An order is placed when you select a package, provide the requested information and complete payment through our website or another payment method we accept. Full or partial payment (as specified for your package) is required before work begins, unless we have agreed otherwise with you in writing.

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any taxes that apply, unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely by a third-party payment provider, as described in our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors on our website and will inform you before proceeding if this affects your order.

4. Client Responsibilities

To deliver an accurate, effective document, we rely on the information you give us. By placing an order, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete and truthful information about your career history, qualifications and achievements
  • Respond to our requests for information or clarification in reasonable time, so we can meet the agreed delivery timeline
  • Review draft documents carefully and raise any requested revisions clearly and within the timeframe for your package
  • Use the final documents for their intended purpose (personal job applications), and not resell, redistribute or represent our work as your own writing to a third party

We are not responsible for inaccuracies in the final document that result from incomplete, false or misleading information provided to us.

5. Delivery Timelines

Standard delivery for most packages is a typical 48-hour turnaround from when we receive all the information we need from you, as set out on our Packages page. An express delivery option is available for an additional fee, subject to writer availability. Delivery timelines are estimates rather than guarantees, and may occasionally be affected by factors such as delays in receiving your information, public holidays, or exceptional circumstances outside our control. We will let you know as soon as possible if a delay is expected.

6. Revisions

Revision entitlement depends on the package you choose — some packages include one round of revisions, while others include unlimited revisions until the document is finalised, as described on our Packages page. Revisions cover refining and adjusting the content, structure and presentation of your document based on the information already provided. A request to substantially rewrite the document around new or significantly different career information may be treated as a new piece of work, and may be chargeable, at our discretion.

Revision windows apply for a reasonable period following delivery of your draft, as communicated to you when you order. We recommend requesting revisions promptly so we can keep working from the same context and momentum.

7. Cancellations

You may request to cancel your order at any point before we begin writing your document, for a full refund. Once a writer has started working on your document, cancellation is still possible, but any refund will reflect the work already completed, in line with our Refund Policy. To cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible using the details in How to contact us below.

8. Refunds

Our approach to refunds — including timeframes, what qualifies, and how refunds are processed — is set out in full in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary, refunds are considered where we have not delivered the service as described, or where you cancel before work begins; refunds are not available simply because a finished, accurately written CV does not result in an interview or job offer, as no CV writing service can guarantee that outcome.

9. Intellectual Property

Once a document has been delivered in full and paid for, you own the final version of your CV, cover letter or other document, and are free to use, edit and distribute it for your personal job search. CVProWrite retains ownership of any draft materials, internal templates, structures or writing frameworks used to produce your document, and of all content on our website, including text, design, graphics and logos, unless stated otherwise.

You may not resell our documents or templates, use them to build a competing service, or reproduce substantial parts of our website content without our written permission.

10. Use of Website Content

The content on cvprowrite.co.uk — including articles, guides, package descriptions and downloadable resources such as our career guides — is provided for general information about our professional CV writing services and is not a substitute for personalised career or legal advice. You may view and share our website content for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy, republish or use it commercially without our permission.

11. Testimonials

Testimonials and reviews displayed on our website reflect the genuine views of the clients who provided them, shared with their permission. Testimonials describe individual client experiences and are not a guarantee that you will achieve the same result, since every career and job search is different.

12. Limitation of Liability

We provide our Services with reasonable skill and care, and stand behind the professional quality of our writing and formatting. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We do not guarantee that use of our Services will result in an interview, job offer or any specific career outcome
  • We are not liable for how a third party, such as an employer, recruiter or applicant tracking system, chooses to assess or respond to your document
  • Our liability for any claim relating to our Services is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of earnings or opportunity

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, such as death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.

13. Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal data is described in full in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using our Services, you also agree to that Privacy Policy.

14. Governing Law

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising from them or our Services, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, regardless of where you access our website from. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where you are a consumer living in another part of the UK, in which case mandatory local consumer protections will still apply.

15. Dispute Handling

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our Service, please contact us first using the details below — most concerns can be resolved quickly through direct conversation with our team. If we are unable to resolve a complaint between us, you may be entitled to refer the matter to an alternative dispute resolution scheme [Insert ADR/ombudsman scheme name, if applicable], or, as a UK consumer, to seek advice from Citizens Advice or the Competition and Markets Authority.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in our Services or the law. The version published on this page at the time you place an order will apply to that order. Any changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date, and we encourage you to review this page periodically.
